The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 is the mecca of Motorsport in Australia, the greatest touring car race that halts the nation for one weekend each October.

The road around Mt Panorama could well be the most famous piece of bitumen in the country. The anti-clockwise circuit presents unique challenges to teams and drivers as they compete for one of the most prized trophy’s in the Championship – the Peter Brock Trophy.

This year marks the 47th year of racing at the Mountain and, as always, the action did not disappoint. The introduction of CSR Ethanol fuel meant more pit stops than ever before and, with some of the strongest driver pairings seen in recent years, there were plenty of variables at play for the 1000km event.
