The Lisbon to Dakar Rally - an incredible adventure and one of the last great frontier motorsport events. Traversing six countries across Europe and continental Africa, the Dakar covers a grueling and dangerous 8000km that includes all types of terrain: from the muddy southern European forests to the scorching Sahara desert.

Film footage from the 2007 event depicts some breathtaking scenery in some of the most remote and desolate regions of Africa as the bikes, cars and trucks in the event fight their way across hundreds
of kilometres of sand dunes.

The car division featured a battle to the end between the factory Mitsubishi and Volkswagen teams, along with some of the biggest names in world Motorsport: Ari Vatanen, Robby Gordon, Carlos Sainz, Yvan Muller and Jean-Louis Schlesser. This DVD perfectly captures the essence of the Dakar - almost two hours of the world’s greatest off-road racing.
