In 1935 Rob Roy Hillclimb became the first dedicated Hillclimb in Australia and was the very grass roots of motor sport in this country. During the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s it was not only a significant part of motor racing but also a great social occasion.

Each phase of this unique story, told through rare film footage and photographs, is enriched by commentary from six times Australian hill climb champion Bruce Walton, as well as other motoring greats, including Tony Gaze, Reg Hunt, Bob Jane, Earl Davey Milne, Diana Davison Gaze and motorcycle demon, Max ‘The Atom’ Rathbone.
