August will see the launch of a biography remembering the life of a remarkable young Australian sportsman, Stewart McColl.  Stewart McColl devoted his life to his chosen sport of motor racing, a sport which he loved above all other things.  His drive, determination, and desires are all captured in this biography. The book contains the story and images covering the many eras of Stewart’s life, a life that was tragically cut short in its prime in 2003 at Victoria’s Phillip Island Circuit.  Written by internationally renowned motoring author Stuart Sykes, the book chronicles the many influences in Stewart’s life, from his early childhood, through to his teen years, before becoming a professional racing car driver in his own right. There are many moving tributes from Stewart’s competitors, team managers, his peers and his close-knit group of friends.  From heartbreak to triumph and back, Stewart McColl was a champion in so many ways. To his supporters, his peers, and most of all to his many friends, this book will be a lasting tribute. The story shows what an individual can achieve in the pursuit of their dreams and goals if they have the determination to succeed.
